Akiva is not a therapy or a promise of a “cure.” It is an immersive learning platform that can be used as a complementary tool to help autistic and neurodivergent people acquire and retain cognitive, emotional, communication, academic, situational, and life skills. Its approach is based on data, evidence, and measurable progress.
Akiva’s educational content is designed primarily for users between the ages of 4 and 13, although use and recommendations may depend on each person’s individual characteristics and needs.
No. A diagnosis is not required to use Akiva. The platform can also be used by neurotypical people who enjoy this type of learning experience.
Akiva is compatible with Meta Quest 3, Meta Quest 3S, and Meta Quest 2. Some features may be limited on Meta Quest 2.
No. Akiva is designed to be used with hand interaction rather than traditional controllers, encouraging more natural interaction and exploration within immersive environments.
Yes. Currently, approximately 60% of the experience is visual and gesture-based, while 40% depends on English. Most modules are designed to be intuitive, and Akiva plans to incorporate Spanish and other languages as the platform continues to develop.
